wanna hear a funny story anyone?? ok, so here's my day today. I was in stockton yesterday (friday) for a swim meet. woopdedoo. so then i go home for the night to my house :) yay! happy, funness. haha. then i go back to stockton this morning for more swimming. and then i drive a few people back to santa cruz. on the way i think i missed every freakin freeway change! (not that getting lost is anything new for me tho ;) haha. then i get back to campus, drop some people off, and then take some people to safeway so they can get groceries (cause i'm nice haha) and as we're walking out to the car, (there were 4 of us) the guys w/ me start making fun of me cause i left my lights on (woops) and i'm all like, haha i'm an idiot. then i'm thinking to myself, hhmm, i wonder if i left them on ALL day? haha. silly me. and then i get in the car, and it wont start, and i'm like haha, it wont start, and they look at me and laugh and are like, hey good one haha. but then i treally doesnt start. so basically we spent almost an hour sitting in the crowded parking lot of safeway calling everyone we could think of (basically 1/2 the swim team) trying to find someone w/ jumper cables. then after like forever, this girl walks to the car next to us and turns out she went to high school with one of the guys i was with and just happened to have jumper cables!!!! yay!! so after an hour of sitting around beign ridiculously tired and hopped up on fruitsnacks (haha dane reference for you leslie ;) my car finally started and we were on our way back to campus! and we couldve avoided having EVERYone know what a dumbshit i am haha. oh well. it was very entertaining. and now i need a nap. |

been awhile since i've updated so..... well, midterm time is now, kinda stinks but so far not as bad as it could be haha :) I do, however need to be more on top of reading and stuff. I think i'm gonna start going to borders to study cause i did that the other day and it seemed to work :) today was my first official swim meet as a banana slug haha. we swam against davis and san jose (both division 1 schools) and pretty much got our asses handed to us ahah but it was fun. then I was gonna go to a water polo practice thing, but it was right after and i was way too tired after swimming all day, so i bailed - i feel a little bad cause i said i was gonna do it, but whatever, i would have been retarded anyway. so instead i went and bought a wetsuit :) yay!! but i must say, trying on wetsuits SUCKS ASS! it was sooo annoying. i dont really like wetsuits cause they're so, like tight and stuff haha, but the water here is way cold and i want to actually learn how to surf, so ya. but I got one i like, it jsut took me FOREVER and a day to get it on...it was soo freakin hot in the changing room too, i was sweating tons. eeeewww. haha. but it's ok now, cause i have a wetsuit and hopefully i will be going surfing tomorrow. we'll see. so other than that, not too much to post. i think it's naptime if i'm gonna do anything tonight. oh yeah!! i say Waiting yesterday, pretty funny...kinda random but Dane is cool and Berg (aka ryan reynolds) is my hero and i heart him pretty much. hahah. ok so that's it. !!! |

me=tired
man am i tired. day 2 of class was better than day one. I only have one class so that's cool. getting up at 5:30 to go to practice, however, not so cool. but after i went to the dining hall with swim people and got large amounts of food so that was good. then i went to class and it was only 1/2 hour today so that was cool. then when i got back i went straight back to bed and slept pretty much from 10ish to 12:30. then got ready for practice #2 and got my mail key on the way there. and then went to practice. then went to find out about my lost ID card, no one's turned it in. i have a small feeling that it could just be in my stuff somewhere, but havent felt like looking. i think i'll do that in the morning and check the office one more time and if i dont find it then just shell out the $20 to get a new one so I can go to the dining hall whenever i want. whew that was one ginormous sentence. sentance, i always forget if it's an A or an E for the second vowel. haha. anyway, just got back from watching a guys water polo game mmmm polo guys haha. but it was freezing. and i'm really tired so i'm getting ready for sleep. yay. haha |

i am all moved in!!!!! :) my apartment is soo frickin nice! there's an upstairs!!! all the rooms are upstairs (there are 2 singles and 2 doubles) and there are 2 bathrooms and then a huge kitchen and a living room downstairs! and one of the best parts, there's actually pretty nice furniture, like relatively comfortable!! wow!! so far my roomie isnt here yet but one of my apartment mates is and she's hella cool so far! I feel like leslie with all the exclaimations! haha! so ya. i'll update more later :) I heart my room :) hahah |

today i ventured out into santa cruz in search of a trader joes, which should not have taken that long but i decided to take the "scenic" route and take a half an hour to find it. but when i got there who should i run into but BRIAN! haha weird. and then i tried to call leslie but my phone went retarded and wouldnt connect. that is all. |

Today I went for a run right by the BEACH! I didnt run on the beach, but more like a cliff overlooking the beach but it was soo nice. i heart the weather here! It was really pretty out and there's this light house (that's a surfing museum) and from around there you can watch people surf. i cant remember what the spot's called, i've beenthere a few times and stuff, but anyway it was cool to just watch people surf and enjoy the nice weather. :) |

I should be cleaning my room/doing laundry/getting my stuff together but I keep getting sidetracked :( my room is such a mess it's overwhelming! oh man. most of it's clothes and stuff like that tho. blah. on another note, I got new glasses! these ones are actually the right prescription! yay! they pretty much look like my old ones but they're green-ish, and a little bit different. but i heart them! haha! and I'm watching Lilo & Stitch while I "clean" my room. |

well, I leave for Santa Cruz Thursday morning (exciting but sad) I'll be back the 10th tho for that weekend. My mom and I are driving down thursday at the buttcrack of dawn because i have practice at 9am. then she's renting a car to drive home. I think her friend might come too. I'm kinda excited, but I dont really know anyone there and i dont even really know where I'm staying - they just told me to bring a sleeping bag, pillow and anything else i need and come to practice and i guess we'll figure it out. oh, and they said to bring a bike, haha. yikes. |

so i just got home and there these bright lights kinda near my house in the street and I was like wtf mate? and then i saw it was a sheriff car and there was a random red car parked rigth out in fron tof our house by our van and there was like clothes and stuff kida strewn by it and the back and a bunch of doors (of the car) were open and at first i was like is that a body on teh ground? (eek) but it was just a bunch of crap so i called my house and was like, um dad, there's a sheriff car outside our house and he was like oh really and so i started walking up to my house and a sheriff guy was like do you live at this house and i was like yeah and then he was like, have you ever seen this car (the red one) and I was like no, so he was like ok. then my dad came out and it turns out the cops were like chasing this guy kinda and he ditched his car right outside our house. nice huh? so we just closed all the windows and such. weirdness! yeah, so that's about it. ps: tomorrow Brothers Grimm!!! yay!! |
